Joe was born into the transmission repair industry. His grandfather Marion Edgar founded Edgar’s Transmission over 40 years ago. While his father & mother (Charlie & Beverly) owned the business since the 80’s, Joe has always played an important role in the shop. Joe rejoined Edgar’s Transmission about 12 years ago, becoming our Lead Builder and today also oversees the shop as Shop Manager.

Here, Joe is disassembling a customer's automatic transmission in preparation for a rebuild.
